A Study on the Affected Teeth and the Frequency of Recurrent Caries in a School Children

Abstract
For the evaluation of the d. f. , D. F. teeth and the recurrent caries frequency of the filled teeth in Korean children, the author performed oral examination of 1,648 children of L primary school on June 1975.
The results obtained were as follows:
1. The percentage of d. f. , D. F. person was 93.93 and average number of d. f. , D. F. teeth per child was 5.36.
2. The d. f., D. F. teeth ratio was 41.5, where d. f. was 39.83 and D. F. was 45.34.
3. The d. D. teeth ratio was 35.86, where d. was 34.82 and D. was 38.26.
4. The f. F. teeth ratio was 5.64, where f. was 5.01 and F. was 7.08.
5. The percentage of f. F. teeth to d. f., D. F. teeth was 13.58, and the percentage of f. F. teeth to total filled teeth was 36.05.
6 In the total filled teeth, the percentage of amalgam filled teeth was 74.08, gold inlay filled teeth was 18.48 and metal crown weared teeth was 7.49.
7. In the total filled teeth, 84.42 percent of amalgam filled teeth was in deciduous teeth, 95.27 percent of gold inlay filled teeth was in permanent teeth and 92.77 percent of metal crown weared teeth was in deciduous teeth.
8. The percentage of f. F. teeth in amalgam filled teeth was 26.79, where f. was 24.04 and F. was 41.67.
9. The percentage of f. F. teeth in ¢¥gold inlay filled teeth was 47.31, where f. was 34.38 and F. was 47.95
